Production Manager

Artemis Media is seeking exceptional Production Managers with proven broadcast credits and experience to join the team for two exciting, premium documentary series.
Working closely and collaboratively with the Series Producer, Line Producer and Post Production Supervisor, the Production Manager will supervise the Coordinator and ensure the smooth running of the production.

There are two positions open based in Fremantle West Australia commencing April 28 and June 2 2025 with some start date flexibility.


PRODUCTION MANAGER CRITERIA:
• Supervise and Manage: the production logistics, schedule, staff and crew for the series always ensuring that they are within the scheduling and budgetary requirements of the series.
• Prioritisation: know what requires immediate attention and find quick solutions to enable the smooth running of the production.
• Financial management: manage the budget and handle cost reports with the accounts manager and line producer.
• Negotiation: be confident at negotiating and managing a wide range of deals and contracts, ensure everyone understands what needs to happen, when and why.
• Liaising and coordination: of communication between participants, crew members and the Producer. Ensuring the Producers are informed at all times of the progress of the series.
• Knowledge of law: confidently manage health and safety, data protection legislation, contractual rights, compliance and copyright requirements, ensure paperwork is in order.
• Technology: keep informed of new technologies and advancements and identify the most efficient and cost-effective ways of working.
• International shoot experience is desirable.
