Production Co-ordinator - Drama

WildBear’s Production Coordinators are responsible for coordinating multiple aspects of Production, with tasks ranging from setting up shoots, organising travel logistics, to liaising with the rest of the Production and Post Production teams, it is a wide ranging and dynamic role that requires solid understanding of Production and Post Production workflows.

We are seeking a Production Coordinator with Drama experience to work on a documentary series, based out of our Sydney office. The role will run from late July until late August, with the possibility of extension. The applicant will preferably have experience on documentary series and setting up shoots. The successful applicant will be comfortable working in large teams and have a ‘can do’ attitude. Attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and great communication skills are a must. You will work directly with the PM, Producer, Director, Head of Production and Post Production team to facilitate all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production (as required), within a specified budget and schedule, including liaising with external and internal clients.

Key responsibilities:

● Coordination and logistics for shoots
● Procuring services from suppliers
● Maintaining accurate budget records and work within project budgets
● Liaison with clients, crews and freelancers, actors and agents
● Collating and creating delivery paperwork and assisting with final delivery of programs
● Keeping accurate records of post production paperwork and delivery requirements
● Analysis and reporting of footage use
● Ability or knowledge of archive clearance and recording of rights and clearances information
● Ability to travel and attend location shoots if required
● Maintain a high standard of innovation and creativity in work
● Provide support to the production, post-production and administration staff in Canberra and other offices
● Perform other duties, as reasonably required by WildBear Entertainment
