Job Description
QSIC is looking for a Creative Production Coordinator to assist with the production and delivery of creative ad assets for QSIC’s retail media advertising campaigns. Reporting to the Creative Production Manager (based in Brisbane), you’ll support our small and nimble Creative Services team to help manage existing global partners’ advertising production processes end-to-end, primarily within the fuel and convenience, grocery, liquor and retail verticals. Example QSIC partners include 7-Eleven, Reddy Express, Coles Liquor Group and McDonald’s. You’ll implement audio ads across partners’ store locations by delivering ad scheduling via the QSIC HQ Ad Platform, and will provide ad production support to QSIC teams worldwide (USA other global markets). You’ll also play a key role in helping accelerate the development of our ad production tools, including our Generative Audio AI platform “Lucy”. You’ll be someone who has recently started a career in creative production, and who is seeking to grow and learn in a fast-paced technology company. You’ll play a part in supporting QSIC’s continued growth and scalability, globally. This is a fulltime, permanent role in Melbourne, and is required to attend the office (Abbotsford) 2-3 days per week.
What You’ll Do
Commercial Creative and Production
- Engage with clients to receive creative briefs and determine a creative strategy that aligns with their commercial goals.
- Write audio advertising copy and develop scripts for commercial audio ad campaigns.
- Cast, book and direct voiceover performance sessions.
- Work with project management software tools (Trello, Monday.com etc).
- Conduct final production and mastering in order for audio to go live.
AI-Assisted Creative and Product Development
- Work alongside QSIC’s internal product development stakeholders to advance QSIC’s AI platform (“Lucy”) towards functional creative and audio production.
- Train and maintain a bank of AI voiceover talent for Australia and United States-based clients.
- Integrate music into the Lucy platform and optimise the final mix for commercial use.
Creative Ideation and Campaign Operations
- Act as an internal resource for creative ideation and brainstorming for potential commercial opportunities.
- Support the QSIC Sales team to facilitate regular creative brainstorming sessions to identify commercial opportunities for existing and potential clients.
- Schedule campaigns via QSIC software tools (QSIC-HQ).
Additional Responsibilities
- Support existing Creative Services team members (as required) on team projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in creative development.
- Continuously seek opportunities for team process improvement and innovation.
About You
Experience
You must have:
- Some demonstrated experience working in audio advertising production.
- Experience using Logic Pro for music recording, editing and mixing - including mastering tools and plugins.
- Experience working with a range of clients on the delivery of creative services, including audio (for example, radio).
- Demonstrated understanding of the end to end Creative Services process; including copywriting, voiceover management, voiceover art direction, client briefings and post production.
- Experience working on a wide range of problems - and be able to confidently evaluate and solve these, knowing when to solve these on your own, and when to seek support.
- Demonstrated experience working in a small, nimble creative team.
- Previously been involved in technical discovery conversations (phone, email, in person) with clients.
- Experience effectively communicating over the phone, in person, and online with a range of colleagues and external stakeholders including clients.
- Full, unrestricted work rights for Australia (unfortunately we are unable to offer immigration assistance for this position).
Bonus points if you:
- Have a Certificate IV in Audio Engineering.
- Have experience working with Retail clients in Australia.
- Are bilingual (Spanish beneficial).
- Have confidence using a range of Apple Mac products and the Google suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meets).
- Have a passion for building new ways of working and creating efficiencies.
- Enjoy learning about creative development industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices.
- Have a keen interest in understanding how audio advertising creative relates to driving commercial outcomes for businesses.
- Have a strong interest in music - you’ll be joining a team which includes QSIC’s global music content curators!
